Antonis was born in Cyprus where he completed his elementary and high school education. He moved to the United Kingdom in 1974 where he graduated from the University of Aston in Birmingham in 1978 receiving a Combined Honours BSc degree in Architecture and Computer Science. After his graduation, he decided to enter the accounting profession and joined a firm of chartered accountants as a trainee. After successfully completing his professional examinations and training, he became a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1984. In 1985, as a qualified Chartered Accountant, he returned to Cyprus where he became a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus and joined the Nicosia office of an international firm of accountants and auditors as the manager of the offshore & international business section of the firm. In his 6.5 years with this firm, Antonis realised the need for a specialist firm for the needs of international clients setting up in Cyprus. In September 1991 he set up his own accounting practice specialising in the provision of a comprehensive range of services for the needs of international businesses. In 1992 the firm joined the UHY International network strengthening even more its already international orientation. In more than three decades of operation, the firm helped thousands of international clients from all corners of the world and in many different types of activities.
